A traveller in a protective suit steps out of a spaceship. He sets foot on the surface of an alien planet and examines its components. His microscopic observations raise the question of whether it is not actually a very familiar environment that we are looking at.

The performance ‘Die Landung’ uses found objects, text fragments, recordings and puppets from the fringes of urban life. It is all too human to overlook the matter that lies in the most functional and pragmatic components of our cities.

The protagonist of the story tries to understand the structure of our living spaces and asks what is trampled underfoot on the way to our everyday affairs.
